Literally Thousands, Harmeet?

"There are literally thousands of them out there that we are looking at."

That's Harmeet Dhillon. Trump's head of Civil Rights at the Justice Department. On 60 Minutes. About noncitizens voting.

Literally thousands. LITERALLY.

Okay, let's count, princess.

The Heritage Foundation, the right wing think tank that basically wrote the Trump playbook, keeps its own election fraud database. Their whole job is finding this stuff. They WANT to find it.

Noncitizens voting, 2003 to 2023? Twenty-four cases.

Twenty. Four. In twenty years. That's barely more than one a year in a country of hundreds of millions of voters.

Lesley Stahl basically told her that to her face. Harmeet's comeback? Even Biden prosecuted 13 people. Stahl: "13 people. I mean, the numbers are tiny."

And Harmeet goes, well, we've been in office less than two years, it takes time.

It takes time to find thousands of something your own side couldn't find in twenty fucking years? Ma'am, that's not an investigation. That's a scavenger hunt with a deadline. The deadline is November 3rd.

She also said, and I quote, "It's not to sow distrust. The distrust is there."

Yeah. Who put it there? Your boss has been screaming "rigged" since 2016. That's like setting the kitchen on fire and then bragging that you showed up with a bucket.

Then Stahl asked if they're sending ICE to polling places. "There is no plan to do that." No PLAN. Super comforting. I have no plan to eat the whole cake either.

Asked if she could rule out them challenging a state's vote, she said "I don't know what is going to happen." Then something about "some shocking contingency."

Meanwhile, the SAME week, her department sued California to try to stop counting ballots from about 20,000 people it flagged as potential noncitizens. Flagged. Potential. Not proven. Not charged. Just flagged.

You don't need to catch thousands of fake voters. You just need to SAY thousands, scare a bunch of real citizens, and gum up the count in a blue state.

And she whined on X afterward that 60 Minutes edited out "95%" of her answers. Sweetie, if the 5% they kept was "literally thousands," I can't imagine what the other 95% was.

Now, to the guys in my comments about to paste a link from some guy named Tanner's Substack: the HERITAGE number is 24. Your own team's number. Argue with them.

So here's my question, and I want everybody to answer it.

If noncitizen voting is such a massive crisis, why is the only "proof" they ever show us a number that comes out of a Trump official's mouth the week before an election?

Name ONE of the thousands. I'll wait.
